    Cyanobacterial blooms tracked by the phycocyanin and phycoerythrin signatures that separate them from the surrounding phytoplankton, which delineates the bloom front rather than estimating it

  2. Hydrocarbon spills

    Rapid-response surveys at ppb sensitivity, where spectral fingerprinting separates crude, refined product, and biological background

  3. Sewage and wastewater plumes

    Outfall plumes mapped by their optical tracers, compatible with European bathing-water and Marine Strategy Framework Directive monitoring

  4. Suspended sediment dynamics

    Quantitative TSS surveys for dredging programmes, port basins, and coastal-erosion studies, resolved sub-metre along the survey line
