mFL-12 compact fluorescence sensor, three-quarter studio view

mFL-12

Active fluorescence monitoring that runs unattended, day and night, at 1.75 kg

At 1.75 kg this is the most compact hyperspectral LIF lidar the company knows of, with a single 405 nm excitation and reception across 405–880 nm. An ON/OFF technique alternates laser-on and laser-off readings and subtracts the sunlight, so the measurement holds day and night. It runs unattended on buoys, piers, and vessels, reading chlorophyll-a, CDOM, suspended matter, and oil films on the surface. TRL 7–8, field-tested with ESA at Venice in 2025.

Excitation 405 nm
Reception 405–880 nm
Mass 1.75 kg
Detection 1 Hz max
Measures

What it measures

Each parameter is resolved through its own optical process, and every return band is read from the excitation line that produces it
