Above-water Rrs
Interleaves downwelling irradiance, sky radiance, and sea-surface radiance with dark-current auto-calibration.
Micro hyperspectral radiometer — above-water Rrs for satellite cal/val.
Passive three-channel radiometer. Measures sunlight reflected off the water the way a satellite does, but from the surface and free of atmospheric distortion, to derive Remote Sensing Reflectance (Rrs). Pairs with the active LIF sensors to build satellite match-up pairs. Developed in the OQOMETHI programme; field-tested with ESA at Venice, 2025.
Each parameter resolved through its own optical process. Wavelengths shown on the spectrum strip mark the emission band returned to the detector.
Interleaves downwelling irradiance, sky radiance, and sea-surface radiance with dark-current auto-calibration.
Derives the exact Rrs quantity satellites estimate, for cal/val pairing alongside active LIF measurements.
Above-water radiometry viewing geometry minimises surface glint.
Runs unattended with automatic upload to cloud storage.
