Phytoplankton & pigments
Chlorophyll-a from 0.05 to 400 mg·m⁻³, plus phycoerythrin, phycocyanin, and pigment index, from their fluorescence return.
Forty-eight spectral bands. One pulse.
Multi-wavelength laser-induced fluorescence LiDAR. Records the full echo-signal spectrum of the near-surface water layer across forty-eight narrow optical bands. Two excitation models — 355 + 532 nm for chlorophyll, CDOM, and suspended matter, or 266 + 532 nm for oils, phenols, and tryptophan.
Each parameter resolved through its own optical process. Wavelengths shown on the spectrum strip mark the emission band returned to the detector.
Chlorophyll-a from 0.05 to 400 mg·m⁻³, plus phycoerythrin, phycocyanin, and pigment index, from their fluorescence return.
Coloured and fluorescent dissolved organic matter (CDOM/FDOM), fulvic and humic acids, and sewage tracers.
Fuels, diesel, crude, and oil-in-water emulsions, fingerprinted by UV excitation at 266 nm.
Polyethylene, polypropylene, wood, leaves, seagrass, and surface foam by their distinct fluorescence signatures.
Mineral matter and suspended sediment from 0.1 to 400 g·m⁻³ along the survey track.
